Many clients find it particularly helpful to have the office that is familiar with their family law or personal injury matter also assist them with their criminal law issue. Employment Law

If your employer has acted in a manner which breaches either your statutory or your common-law rights, you may have a cause to take action through the legal system. Some common examples of such incidents are when an employee has been wrongfully dismissed from his or her job, or has been provided with a proposal for “restructuring” which seriously reduces his or her responsibilities and/or salary.

Often, a client is presented with an offer that they are expected to accept or reject within a very short time frame. Where one has been employed for a long period of time, this may be a stressful and confusing time for you and your family.

Wills and Estates

If you are in need of a new will, an update to your old will, or simply more information about your final wishes, we invite you to contact our office to discuss. Our office has assisted many clients with the preparation and updating of wills, and with the administration of estates upon the death of a loved one. Executors and trustees usually require the assistance of a skilled professional with certain basic steps required by, for example, banks and mortgage providers, to ensure that the deceased’s estate passes cleanly and without difficulty to his or her beneficiaries, and to ensure that his or her last wishes and directions are honoured.

Small Claims Court

Many litigation matters do not require the complex procedures and lengthy timelines of the upper courts. If your claim is of a total value of less than twenty-five thousand dollars, small claims court may be the appropriate forum for your litigation needs.
